8:00am Wednesday November 8, 2023 – 10:30 am Wednesday November 15, 2023
As a registered tow truck operator (RTTO) in Washington, we auction abandoned vehicles under RCW 46.55.
Any registered, legal, or report of sale owners can redeem their vehicles from impound for the full balance due, until the auction closes. This means that a vehicle may be removed from auction after bids are accepted. A-Jacks is not liable to any bidders for vehicles removed from auction.
Proxy bidding enables you to enter the most you want to bid for an item, the site will automatically bid for you up to your set amount, and when another bid goes past your amount they will appear as the top bidder. If there is a reserve price set for an item, the first proxy bid will be automatically raised to that (reserve) value. With proxy bidding in effect, it can appear as if one bider has beat another bidder with the same bid amount. This is normal and occurs when a bidder makes a bid at the exact same amount the current proxy bid is at. For the second bidder to place a successful bid, they must bid higher than the proxy bid that is in effect.
Payment for all items is due in full by 4:00pm the day of auction.
By bidding in our auctions, you are agreeing to these payment terms should you win a bid(s). We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover. All card transactions will be subject to an additional 3% conveinence fee. You are also confirming that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions listed on this page (please see below for our full T&C).

There are no additional fees in addition to the bid price. Buyers will be given an Abandoned Vehicle Report of Sale (AVR) and are responsible for completing the title transfer with the Department of Licensing.

This means that a vehicle may be removed from auction after bids are accepted. A-Jacks is not liable to any bidders for vehicles removed from auction.
RCW 46.55.130 (3) A tow truck operator may refuse to accept a bid at an abandoned vehicle auction under this section for any reason in the operator’s posted operating procedures and for any of the following reasons: (a) The bidder is currently indebted to the operator; (b) the operator has knowledge that the bidder has previously abandoned vehicles purchased at auction; or (c) the bidder has purchased, at auction, more than four vehicles in the last calendar year without obtaining title to any or all of the vehicles.
A-Jacks is also a used vehicle dealer. These vehicles may have a reserve set and are subject to the following fees in addition to the purchase price: 8.9% sales tax, 5% buyer fees, $40 Admin fees, and $35-$160 title transfer fees. Dealers, wrecking yards, hulk haulers, and scrap processors, licensed by Washington State are exempt from the title transfer fees and sales tax as long as A-Jacks has their current business license and tax-exempt documents on record prior to the sale. These customers will be given title work at the time of the sale. Public buyers will be given either proof of title transfer, or proof of registration at the time of the sale.
Payment is due in full at A-Jacks by 4:30pm on the closing day of auction. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. All card transactions will be charged an additional 3% convenience fee. We also accept business checks on a case-by-case basis, we do not accept personal checks. Lots that are not paid in full by 4:30 pm on the closing day of auction will be considered in default and a $150 per vehicle re-list fee will be applied to your account unless prior arrangements are made with A-Jacks’ management. Auction privileges are immediately suspended until balances are paid in full.

A-Jacks will not negotiate any repairs or guarantee any vehicle’s condition, durability, or run ability as a condition of any auction sale.
Viewing hours will be updated for each auction but are generally held the week leading up to the auction closing date from Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm. We will not allow viewing during non-business hours.
Each bidder must have their own account. Customers are prohibited from allowing other customers to use their auction account to bid on a vehicle. All bidders are responsible for any purchases made on their account. A-Jacks strongly discourages sharing your username and password with anyone if you do not accept financial responsibility for all bids placed on your behalf. All vehicles will be titled under the bidder’s name on record with A-Jacks. (if your friend bids under your username, you are financially responsible if they win a car, and that car will be registered in your name).
